Al Masini was a television pioneer who created the concept of syndicated TV and countless mega-hit TV shows. Before Real Housewives, there was Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous. Before American Idol, there was Star Search. Before MTV, there was Solid Gold.

And then there's the longest running entertainment news show Entertainment Tonight, 32 TV mini-series, loads of TV specials and hundreds of mega-stars discovered on Al's shows.
